one of the best documentry's i've seen, here is more on the story of the film from wikipedia:
Princess Misha'al bint Fahd al Saud (1958-1977) (Arabic: الأميرة مشاعل بنت فهد بن محمد آل سعود) was a Saudi Arabian princess who was a victim of an honor killing, being publicly killed by her own family for adultery in 1977, at the age of 19. She was a granddaughter of Prince Muhammad bin Abdul Aziz, who was an older brother of the then King of Saudi Arabia, King Khalid bin Abdul Aziz.
After attempting to fake her own drowning and being caught trying to escape from Saudi Arabia with her lover, she and her lover were executed on the orders of her grandfather, Prince Muhammad bin Abdul Aziz. There is no clear evidence that a trial of the Princess or her lover took place. No charges have ever been brought against her grandfather.
Her death and events that lead up to it were dramatized in the docu-drama Death of a Princess (1980):
"The difference between the official version, which was the girl was killed because she was found guilty of adultery, and the truth of it, which turns out that she was, in fact, executed by the king's elder brother in an act of tribal vengeance in a parking lot in Jeddah, was, in fact, the heart of the controversy because that was the part that, of course, the royal family could not countenance. And that was the great outrage."

interesting stuff u can use to pass the time
An Inconvenient Truth:"a stunning documentary on Al Gore's campaign to publicize global warming. If you care anything about this planet of ours, you should own a copy just so you can show it to all the hippie-hating folks who have never seen it. "Al Gore strips his presentations of politics, laying out the facts for the audience to draw their own conclusions in a charming, funny and engaging style, and by the end has everyone on the edge of their seats, gripped by his haunting message."

"How can a woman be expected to be happy with a man who insists on treating her as if she were a perfectly normal human being"
I know I don’t want to be with a perfectly normal girl (I just love this girl's smile, its just wonderful)
I just cannot associate being normal with being happy, well what I am trying to say is, are you happy on a normal day? Or are you happy on a day in which you do something out of the ordinary? (remember the Dubai airways commercial tag line "when was the last time you did something for the first time" I like that) But not every day we get to experience something new, so if my username is any hint, I was bored and wondered what can I do to make myself happy, so yours truly did some surf n search and here is what I found.
Top 10 ways to trigger your body's feel-good chemicals
According to the study, your body releases chemicals known as Endorphins when it needs to relieve any pain. At the same time this is the chemical that gets released when you laugh hard or just feel happy n good. So having that happy feeling means that you body is releasing a lot of endorphins.
Cool huh? Well then why the hell aren’t we mass producing these so called endorphins and gobbling them down like skittles? Cuz if you didn’t already know, drugs such as morphine, heroine and cocaine are endorphin releasing stimulants.
Bummer, I know. Anyhow the geniuses at some lab in some university decided to do a little research in order to help all of us finding our inner endorphinite. So without further a do, here goes:
1) Think Positive Thoughts: ok this probably isn’t new to anyone but studies have shown that people who received fake medicine and been told that it is real start to feel better soon after. It has to do with the power of perspective which can release these chemicals just by thinking of them.
2) Eat a Chili Pepper: like we said before, endorphins are released when your body is in pain, so these scientists suggest you eat some chili pepper that will release small amount of endorphins depending on how tolerant are you to spicy food.
3) Work Out: I always feel good after an hour of tae bo. The research says that people who run regularly experience a "runners high" in which at a certain point in the workout your body will release a good amount of endorphins.
4) Get Moved: Madonna's Like A Prayer always does it for me and I don’t care what anyone thinks :P I also love to look at beautiful pictures. But it can be anything that moves you, or in other words, lifts your spirits up.
5) Be Afraid: this is for all y'all roller coaster junkies out there, yep that feeling that thrill you get is all about endorphins baby. The higher and faster you go the more chemicals you are likely to release.(personally I'd rather eat chili peppers)
6) Worship the Sun: as in get a tan. The more you stay out in the sun, the more those UV rays call out your endorphins to come out and play. That’s why we all love the summer.
7) Have a big laugh: well if you're laughing then you are happy, simple as that.
8) Undergo Acupuncture: this is when a Chinese fella sticks you with hundreds of needles…I'd still prefer the chili's.
9) Have an Orgasm: (oh really, that simple?) yeah well it’s the best way to release those endorphins. According to the study you'd need to run for an hour and you still wont release the same amount of endorphins you would having a 5 min quickie.
10) Chocolate: according to the study, it is the only food that has addictive qualities, all do to those lovely endorphins. Oh and you know, some people say its even better then sex.
Well I hope you guys learned something from this, if not then your probably thinking I just wasted all this time reading this crap. Well I know ten ways you can feel better about yourself, interested? :P
