This movie is as much about aliens or scary creatures as the Iraq invasion was about weapons of mass destruction. Stephen King takes a long hard look at human nature and what would we do when faced with an impossible situation. I personally think it is one of the best movies based on a Stephen King story, in this case a Novella about a mysterious mist that traps the people of a small up-state New York town in a grocery store, and how differently some people deal with their fear.

I loved the ending
I do agree, this is the best of any movies based on his books, though enjoyed the novella more than the movie, the ending was a bit too depressing!

I haven't watched it yet but I was told the book is way better...
d.s.: well according to bavaud (i have no idea how u pronounce that) the book is better, i havent read it, but if i were u i'd read the book first
The ending was so twisted.. I liked the movie, then half way through I was like COME ON! but the end made it really great!!!
